This has to be one of the proudest names I could hope to drop when talking business! To have worked on a project for the creator of PAC-MAN was nothing short of an honor! 

For this series of videos we were brought on to showcase exactly how to use a new card reader system in arcades on their cruise ships. It’s a really slick concept! You can either get a prepaid card, or you can use your room key to swipe and play any game you want. The cost of that game is just added to your final bill when you check out!

We decided to go with character animations for this series as kind of a show-dont’t-tell deal. Rather than creating a glorified Power Point presentation, we thought it would be important to see the cards in action.

For the character creation, we started off looking for inspiration by perusing by old-school 8-bit video game characters indicative of the PacMan vibe. We came up with some concepts, but decided it would be best to give them a more modern, hipster twist. These are the culmination of that process.
